About Twice As Nice

Health, wellness, and intentional living have transformed my life over the past seven years. Through consistency, nutrition, movement, and faith, I’ve experienced healing and growth even while navigating a lupus diagnosis and physical injuries. That journey taught me the powerful role that nutrition, exercise, self-care, and quality sleep play in creating a healthier, more vibrant life.

Three years ago, I transitioned to a mostly raw, plant-exclusive lifestyle, and it completely changed the way I view food and wellness. As my passion for plant-based living grew, I decided to deepen my knowledge and became a Certified Plant-Based Health Coach in addition to serving as a board-certified OB/GYN physician for the past 18 years.

As my lifestyle changed, I often found myself feeling left out of the dessert experience. Even many vegan desserts were still filled with refined sugars, artificial ingredients, and heavily processed additives that didn’t align with the way I wanted to nourish my body. I wanted desserts that felt both joyful and intentional — treats I could enjoy without compromising my wellness goals.

That desire led to the creation of Twice As Nice Vegan Ice Cream & Desserts.

Twice As Nice focuses on simple, whole-food ingredients like real fruit, date paste, date syrup, date sugar, applesauce, and honey to create desserts that are flavorful, satisfying, and free of the inflammatory sugars and overly processed ingredients commonly found in traditional desserts.

My mission is to create desserts that allow people to indulge differently — enjoying sweetness, comfort, and fun while still honoring their health and wellness journey.

Because dessert should feel good in every way. 🍓🍌🍫
